27th May 2007

14:00 - Nadia was taken to Libya, whilst her mother thought she was at a party in manchester.

14:30 - The alarm was raised when nadias father Fawzi, did not answer a telephone call. A routine that happens at the same time every week.

14:35 - Police were called after Fawzi's new girlfriend confirmed he had left the house and taken his passport.

14:40 - Plane bound for Libya takes off from Manchester Airport.

15:00 - The police raised a 'Port Alert', which was unfortunate as Nadia has taken off at 14:40.

16:00 - Family liaison officer arrives to discuss proceedings with Nadia's Mummy, Sarah.

28th May 2007 - Police confirmed that Nadia has left the country via CCTV footage and ticket sales. They also confirmed that Nadia had been taken using a false name.

30th May 2007 - Meeting set up with Lawyer in bradford that specialises in this type of case.

1st June 2007 - Court Order in place and sent over to Libya for Fawzi to view and sign, however he did not turn up to sign the order.

3rd June 2007 - Sarah spoke to Fawzi, who stated that Sarah canspeakto Nadia when hesays she can.

16th June 2007 - Sarah spoke to Fawzi, and he allowed her to speak to Nadia. Nadia said in a tearful voice "Im in Libya Mummy, I want to come home". 

8th July 2007 - Story released to the press and letter sent to Colonel Gaddafi.

9th July 2007 - Electrium hold a fun day to raise funds for thecase.

10th July 2007 - Sarah appears on Granada Reports to tell the story and to raise awareness of the story.
 
12th July 2007 - Sarah if offered a place to go to Libya to spend time with Nadia. She accepts and isdue to fly out at the end of July.

16th July 2007 - Sarah has appeared on GMTV to appeal directly to Colonel Gadaffi. The Colonels daughters charity has paid for Sarah to go to Libya to spend 2 weeks with Nadia. Lets hope that Fawzi will have the heart to let Nadia see her Mummy.

26th July 2007 - Sarah is due to fly out to Tripoli and Fawzi has allowed Nadia to spend some time with her Mummy. Hopefully whilst over there Sarah and Fawzi can come to an amicable agreement involving Nadia in England with her Family and friends. We must thank Fawzi for allowing Sarah to see Nadia. 

8th August 2007 - Sarah has travelled to Libya and has spent the best part of the last 2 weeks with Nadia, for which we must thank Fawzi. She is due to return on Saturday 11th August. Lets hope Fawzi has a heart and lets Nadia come home with her Mummy to her Family.

11th August 2007 - Sarah returned to England today, unfortunately without Nadia. However, Fawzi has said if we drop the charge against him he will return Nadia to England. Thanks again Fawzi for letting Sarah spend time with Nadia, and hopefully we will see you and Nadia in England soon.

3rd September 2007 - We are now selling car stickers that advertise this story to people around the country. They can be bought for £1 each. If you would like one, please email us at mail@nadiasfund.com and we will gladly send one out to you.

12th September 2007 - The charges on Fawzi have now been dropped in-definately. We are currently awaiting for Fawzi to agree a date to bring Nadia home. Lets pray that this date is not too far away.

26th September 2007 - Sarah and Nadia are now speaking on a daily basis and Fawzi is being very hospitable, thanks Fawzi! Fawzi has promised to bring Nadia home at the next practicable date.

20th October 2007 - Fawzi has now changed his mind and has decided he is not going to return home to England with Nadia. He is also refusing to allow Nadia to sepak to Sarah. Sarah is now moving to Tripoli to fight Fawzi through the Shariah courts. She has a lot of evidence on Fawzi that should mean that the courts will favour Sarah.

1st December 2007 - Sarah and Nadia have finally been re-united, Sarah went to see Nadia at Fawzi's house, Nadia was very excited to see mummy again and couldnt wait to open all the treats her family from England sent over for her, sarah has re-assured Nadia that mummy will be here for her and that she will see her again very soon. Sarah is prepared to take this to court to get custody of Nadia, she is a very strong person and will never gve up on her daughter.

9th May 2008 - Nadias Birthday. Happy Birthday sweetheart, loads of love, kisses and presents from Mummy, Nana, Grandad, Uncle Andy, Auntie Kirsty, Auntie Steph and Uncle Jay. We all love you x x x x
